Tiny Robot Invented To Crawl Through Veins
Slatterz writes “Scientists from Israel’s Technion University have unveiled a tiny robot, made using Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems MEMS technology, purportedly able to crawl through a person’s veins in order to diagnose and potentially treat artery blockage and cancer. The little robot — with a diameter of just one millimeter — has neither engine nor onboard controls, instead being propelled forward by a magnetic field wielded on it from outside the patient’s body.”
Fun with my Canon G10 Fisheye lens
I recently picked up an Opteka HD² 0.20X Professional AF Fisheye Lens for Canon Powershot G10. I have to admit, for a fairly inexpensive lens ($60), it takes some great shots.

Virtual Online Playpen, Windosill
This is honestly one of the most fun things that I’ve seen on the web in a very long time.
Chloe, caught in the act!
Not that there was really ever a question of who else could have been causing the mess….Why entertain the notion of another child? Our Lhasa Apso, Chloe keeps us quite entertained and busy at the same time. Sometimes I wonder if I could make some sort of playpen/high chair/restraining device for her…?

Ghostland Observatory in San Francisco
I’ll admit, I was very hesitant to see Ghostland Observatory this past Friday in San Francisco. Industrial rock could go either way for me as it’s not a style of music that I generally listen to. But when the show was done, I’m really glad that I went.
The light show was magnificent and I thought the music was great. It had a slow, electric, Gothic, 3rd Matrix-esque feel to it, which was kind of right up my alley. It almost reminded me of a cross between Daft Punk and Rob Zombie. Going back and listening to some of the audio, it’s probably not something that I would listen to during the day, but live at a club with the energy of the crowd, it was excellent.
Here is a 3 minute clip that we assembled of some of the video taken. The file size is pretty large, so you may need to give it a minute to load.
I think you’ll agree, It was definately well worth the ride…
When good bagels go bad
Imagine our surprise when we were cleaning out the cupboard and found these two lone bagels in a sealed Tupperware container.

Gotta love those mold spores!
Home for Sale
Just in case anyone out there is looking to buy a home in Indiana, we came across this quaint little add… I wonder how much they want for their mower?
