Fun with my Canon G10 Fisheye lens

I recently picked up an Opteka HD² 0.20X Professional AF Fisheye Lens for Canon Powershot G10. I have to admit, for a fairly inexpensive lens ($60), it takes some great shots.

Me likey.
Great Shot.
What are your thoughts on the Opteka lens and how it works with the G10? Do you need an adaptor in addition to the fish-eye? Does the lens (and adaptor) stay on or does it fall off easily? I am interested in possibly buying one and I would love some feedback.
Thanks!

Hey Mark – Honestly, I love it. Make sure you get the Opteka .20x and not the .35x. I found out the hard way that the .35x is only a semi-fisheye lens. The quality of the pictures are great, and you’re not going to beat that price. It’s definitely a great lens.
Hi Vinny. Does this lens do the circular fish eye look? The picture above doesn’t look too circular.
It looks round to me, curvature in all 4 corners…
What do you consider round?
I was zoomed in pretty far. I didn’t want the entire vignette to occur, so as a result, I had less of a fisheye effect. Here’s an example of my friend Rick taking a photo of himself with the full fisheye effect:

Hi. I consider making panorama picture with g10 and this lens. How many time do I need to shot around to produce 360° panorama? Thanks.
